Atlas
In progressSpreadsheets that handle the admin for you
Bookkeeping, VAT thresholds, compliant invoices, real margin per marketplace. Workbooks you fill in and use, with no macros to enable and no subscription.
The problem
When you work for yourself, admin is not your job, but it is still mandatory. Income has to be logged. VAT thresholds have to be watched across the year. An invoice missing a required line is not compliant.
The free templates floating around rarely handle this properly: many are out of date, written for a different tax regime, or break the moment you add a row.
What Atlas does
Bookkeeping that keeps itself
You log a sale; the annual total, the quarterly running total and the reconciliation update themselves. The ledger follows the format expected of a French micro-entreprise.
Thresholds watched all year
VAT exemption limits and turnover caps: the workbook shows where you stand and how fast you are approaching them, while there is still time to act.
Compliant invoices
A template carrying every required line, continuous numbering included, along with the VAT exemption wording when it applies.
Real margin per marketplace
Commission, shipping, payment fees: the calculator shows what is actually left after each sale, platform by platform. This one works anywhere, whatever your country.
The format
Every product ships in two versions, one for Excel and one for Google Sheets, with a usage guide. No macros, so there is nothing to authorise and nothing that gets blocked on opening. You download the file and it is yours.
Where Atlas stands
Nothing is on sale yet. The workbooks are still being designed. This page describes the product as it will be, not as it is today, which is why there is no purchase link and will not be one until it is genuinely ready. Note that most of these tools are built around French self-employment rules; the marketplace margin calculator is the one that applies regardless of where you are.
